Not all my students are so happy to learn what I teach.

Hello

I am associate professor at University of Lorraine and I teach at National Superior School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (ENSEM)

Teaching activity

  • CM = Lecture; TD = Exercices; TP = Implementation using platforms
  • Mathematics - 25h CM; 24h TD / year
1st semester of the 1st year at ENSEM
The objective of this course is the understanding and manipulation of the basic notions in Calculus, Linear algebra, Ordinary differential equations and Integral transformations.
  • Numerical analysis and algorithms I - 12h TD / year
2nd semester of the 1st year at ENSEM
My activity concerns only the implementations of the theoretical algorithms in order to numerically solve algebraic and differential systems. Another issues concern the extremum search and the simulation of some population dynamics.
  • Control theory -14h TD; 50h TP / year
2nd semester of the 1st year at ENSEM
The objective is the understanding of the basic notions of control theory for continuous dynamics. Stability, controllability and observability of continuous dynamical systems as well as the design of state feedback and PID controllers are presented.
  • Probability -10h TD / year
1st semester of the 2nd year at ENSEM
My activity concerns only the application of the basic probability theory. The objective is the understanding and manipulation of discrete and continuous random variable, test functions, characteristic functions as well as the computation of the p-moments for random variable. Central limit theorem and the Law of large numbers are also emploied.
  • Digital control - 14h CM; 24h TP / year
2nd semester of the 2nd year at ENSEM
The aim of this course is the design of digital controllers. We consider the discretisation of a continuous control law and the direct design of discrete controllers.
  • Control of multi-agent systems - 20h CM / year
1st semeser of the 3rd year at ENSEM
The course presents algebraic and spectral graph theory, consensus algorithms and standard applications such as the synchronization of Kuramoto oscillators, rendez-vous problem and flocking.
  • Supervision of various projects: implementation and research initiation
1st semeser of the 3rd year at ENSEM
These projects mainly concerns control applications involving a platform of autonomous KheperaIII robots available at ENSEM.
